Scouting Activities
· March 25th – Parent Night
- This evening is just for the parents of the 11-18 yrs old boys. We will be discussing the Young Mens program, and how we all can work together to help your sons. It will begin at 6pm.
· April 27th & 28th – Spring Campout
- Please make sure you have your permission slips in, at the latest, the day before we leave.
· July 23rd to 27th – Scout Camp @ Dell Webb
- We will need any voulenteers from fathers that are able to spend part of the week with us. Please let us know if you would be willing to help.
Follow Up Items
- For Duty to God we have been working on Spiritual Strength (the first section).
- Each boy has committed to study the scriptures and pray daily
- Each boy has committed to live worthily
- help your son prepare to share their spiritual experience from living this standard
- discuss with your son the importance of living worthily, (not just by avoiding temptation but also by doing things that will strengthen the spirit.)
- have a Family Home Evening Lesson the importance of spiritual strength.
- Each boy has committed to memorize the Standard of Truth.
- FLAGS!!!
- It’s that time of year again. To provide the best experience for your son does require money. This money goes towards scout camp outs, activities, and our week long scout camping trip. This year we have asked each boy to sell 7 flags to earn their contribution. More info will follow as to how to sign people up and the regulations that are a part of it. Be thinking of who you know in the area that you may be able to ask.
